Thomas Seifert (birth name Brüncker) was born in 1972. He studied Electrical Engeneering at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen, Germany and wrote his diploma thesis at BMW Forschung & Technik GmbH. In 1999 he was awarded the ZIPP-Preis for best graduate. His first employment was with EADS Munich as system engineer. He continued his professional career as software engineer for automotive/telephone with Motorola Deutschland GmbH. Meanwhile he lives in Cologne, Germany, where he is a software lead engineer for Visteon Deutschland GmbH and is also doing private work as an iOS/Android developer.
